Responsibilities
- Perform essential manual labor tasks including road repair, pothole filling, and pavement maintenance.
- Operate heavy machinery such as dump trucks, rollers, and loaders under strict supervision.
- Clear snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, and public facilities during winter storms.
- Collect and transport garbage, recyclables, and bulk waste to municipal disposal sites.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging duties, and maintaining safe construction zones.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Class C Maryland Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety and traffic control procedures.
- Reliable transportation to the job site is mandatory.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
