Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street repair, landscaping, and snow removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist with park maintenance, trail upkeep, and facility groundskeeping
- Support waste management and recycling program operations
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction methods
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous landscaping, construction, or public works experience preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
