Responsibilities
- Perform routine street maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park upkeep
- Operate light equipment (mowers, trimmers, hand tools) safely
- Assist in traffic control, signage installation, and storm drain cleaning
- Participate in snow removal and weather-related emergency operations
- Maintain clean work zones and follow OSHA safety standards
- Complete preventative maintenance checks on assigned equipment
- Document work activities and report facility issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varied conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Preferred: 6 months construction/maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
