Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and site preparation
- Operate light equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and drainage system upkeep
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job sites
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Participate in emergency response operations during weather-related incidents
- Complete accurate daily work logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Previous construction or public works experience preferred
