Responsibilities
- Perform road maintenance tasks including pothole repairs and street cleaning
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, compactors) and hand tools safely
- Assist in park upkeep, landscaping, and storm drain clearing
- Support snow removal operations during winter weather events
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Maintain organized worksites and proper waste disposal protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional crews on community improvement projects
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with construction/maintenance tools or machinery
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols for public works
