Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery including jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers
- Assist in park and public facility upkeep including groundskeeping and minor repairs
- Participate in storm debris removal and emergency response operations
- Support traffic control and flagging during infrastructure projects
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Document work activities and submit daily progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong teamwork ethic and dependable attendance
- Previous labor/construction experience preferred
