Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public parks, streets, and facilities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for landscaping/construction tasks
- Assist in storm drain cleaning and debris removal operations
- Support traffic control and signage installation during public events
- Conduct site inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain safe work environments following OSHA protocols
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on city improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of landscaping/construction tools
- Experience in municipal/public works preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
