Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light equipment (e.g., hand tools, power washers, dump trucks)
- Assist in park maintenance, landscaping, and vegetation control
- Support storm drain cleaning and flood prevention efforts
- Participate in debris removal and disaster response operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Complete daily work logs and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C) with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and work independently
- Experience with hand tools and equipment operation preferred
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Availability to work weekends and occasional overtime as needed
