Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, shoveling, lifting, and moving materials (concrete, asphalt, soil)
- Operate light machinery and equipment (saws, jackhammers, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, park upkeep, and sanitation projects
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines for all operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on construction and repair initiatives
- Report maintenance issues and document work activities accurately
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in variable weather
- Previous construction/labor experience preferred
