Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including street repairs, park maintenance, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, sweepers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm cleanup and emergency response initiatives
- Maintain clean and organized work sites following OSHA standards
- Support traffic control and flagging operations during public projects
- Document daily work activities and equipment usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols
- Experience with hand/power tools and light equipment operation preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
