Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and material handling for public infrastructure projects
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely
- Assist in street maintenance, park upkeep, and landscape beautification
- Participate in debris removal, site cleanup, and waste management
- Support traffic control and safety signage deployment during projects
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance reports
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C minimum)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance practices preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
