Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery including sweepers, mowers, and hand tools
- Assist with storm drain cleaning and flood prevention tasks
- Support landscaping and vegetation management projects
- Participate in debris removal and waste disposal operations
- Help maintain public parks and recreational areas
- Complete daily safety inspections and equipment checks
- Document work activities and submit progress reports
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Valid California Driver's License required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to work flexible daytime hours (up to 29 hours/week)
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical exam
- Must provide own basic work boots and weather-appropriate attire
