Responsibilities
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, jackhammers) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support traffic control measures during construction activities
- Document daily work activities and equipment usage
- Collaborate with crew members on project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be 18+ years old
- Reliable transportation to job sites
