Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of city streets, parks, and public spaces.
- Operate and maintain light to medium heavy equipment including pavement breakers, rollers, sweepers, and mowers.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months.
- Perform traffic control duties, including flagging and directing traffic as required.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with paving, patching, and repairing public roadways.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
