Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and drainage system maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, asphalt cutters) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk installation, and snow removal operations
- Conduct site inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Massachusetts Driver's License (Class D minimum)
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation skills (training provided)
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
