Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of streets, alleys, and public parks.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during winter months.
- Operate light to medium equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, and sweepers.
- Collect and dispose of trash, debris, and litter in designated areas.
- Perform basic repair tasks on sidewalks and curbs as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not always required for this specific role).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
