Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and construction of streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate heavy and light equipment such as dump trucks, rollers, and loaders under supervision.
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Remove debris, snow, and ice from public walkways and roadways.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
- Support the Public Works team with various daily operations as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance equipment is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
