Responsibilities
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws) for sidewalk repairs and maintenance
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist with storm drain cleaning and flood control infrastructure upkeep
- Support traffic control and signage installation for public safety
- Maintain cleanliness of public facilities and construction sites
- Participate in vegetation management and park maintenance projects
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme heat
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Experience with excavation or landscaping preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
