Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, tampers) under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, park renovations, and utility installations
- Conduct site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and reporting
- Support emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Tucson residency required within 90 days of hire
