Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and concrete pouring.
- Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, rollers, and dump trucks under supervision.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Clear snow and ice from streets and sidewalks during winter weather events.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices to ensure worker and public safety.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of public facilities and grounds.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid New Mexico Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance tools is preferred but not required.
