Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate filing systems for inmate and facility records in compliance with state regulations.
- Perform high-volume data entry and verification of documents with a focus on precision and speed.
- Retrieve and distribute records for internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with privacy laws.
- Assist the Records Division with correspondence, scanning, and document formatting.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and report shortages to management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous clerical experience or experience in records management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures strictly.
- Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed.
