Responsibilities
- Process, scan, and maintain accurate digital and physical records for traffic citations and criminal history reports.
- Answer incoming inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information regarding departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform high-volume data entry into state databases with a focus on speed and absolute precision.
- Assist the Records Division supervisor with filing, archiving, and retrieving confidential documents.
- Collaborate with full-time staff to ensure seamless daily operations and workflow efficiency.
- Generate routine reports and assist in the organization of office supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to all state security protocols and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in an office setting, customer service, or records management is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a state-mandated background check and drug screening.
