Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official municipal records in compliance with Arizona State Archives regulations
- Process public information requests within statutory response timeframes
- Digitize and catalog historical documents using City records management software
- Assist with records retention scheduling and destruction protocols
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure regulatory compliance
- Train staff on proper document handling procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year records management or administrative experience
- Familiarity with Arizona Public Records Law (A.R.S. ยง 39-121)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Ability to pass fingerprint-based background check
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Valid Arizona driver's license (may be required for occasional off-site duties)
