Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and personal effects using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Patrol screening areas to ensure compliance with TSA regulations and security protocols.
- Assist travelers with special needs and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive travel experience.
- Identify and intercept prohibited items or potential threats while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Operate and monitor screening equipment to ensure proper functionality and accuracy.
- Document incidents, observations, and irregularities according to established procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Must be able to pass a security background investigation and drug screening.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and drug test.
