Responsibilities
- Administer retirement plans including pension, 401(a), and deferred compensation programs
- Ensure compliance with IRS, ERISA, and Ohio Revised Code regulations
- Process member contributions, distributions, and benefit calculations
- Conduct annual valuations and actuarial reporting
- Develop educational materials for plan participants
- Collaborate with investment advisors on fund performance analysis
- Manage pension enrollment and exit procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or ASPPA designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium)
- Expert knowledge of ERISA and Ohio pension regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
