Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, disbursements, and record-keeping
- Advise federal employees on retirement planning and benefit options
- Ensure compliance with federal pension regulations (TSP, FERS, CSRS)
- Process retirement applications and resolve benefit discrepancies
- Generate reports for OPM and Treasury Department audits
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on pension policy updates
- Conduct employee workshops on retirement planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or related field
- 3+ years of pension/benefits administration experience
- Familiarity with federal retirement systems (FERS/CSRS)
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or SHRM-CP preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations
- Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
