Responsibilities
- Review and analyze pension plan documents for compliance with federal regulations
- Assist in conducting audits of pension plan administration records
- Respond to inquiries from federal employees regarding retirement benefits and eligibility
- Prepare reports on pension plan financial status and regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with legal and financial teams to resolve compliance issues
- Update and maintain pension plan databases and documentation systems
- Participate in training programs to develop expertise in pension regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced federal regulatory environment
- Basic understanding of pension plans or employee benefits preferred
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position
- Pass background investigation and security clearance
