Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses using CAD systems
- Coordinate with patrol units, EMS, and fire departments during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate incident logs and radio communications per department protocols
- Utilize mapping software and databases for rapid resource deployment
- Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and ethical standards
- Participate in continuous training for new technologies and emergency procedures

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized dispatch software
- U.S. citizenship and valid New York State driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
