Responsibilities
- Answer and triage emergency/non-emergency calls with professionalism and urgency
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using state-of-the-art CAD systems
- Maintain precise documentation of all communications and incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Operate radio equipment and maintain secure communication channels
- Participate in continuous skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn technical systems
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (testing required)
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
