Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and bag inspections following TSA protocols
- Verify identification documents and boarding passes
- Maintain security checkpoint efficiency while providing customer service
- Report suspicious activities and security breaches to supervisors
- Operate advanced imaging technology and explosive detection systems
- Adhere to all TSA policies and federal security regulations
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent residency status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours)
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history
- Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
