Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and dispatch police, fire, and EMS units with precision
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software
- Maintain detailed incident logs and update case records in real-time
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during emergencies
- Monitor surveillance feeds and alarm systems for citywide incidents
- Participate in regular training drills and certification updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid Arizona driver's license (Class D)
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Experience in customer service or high-pressure environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English (bilingual candidates encouraged)
