Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls, gathering critical information and dispatching appropriate resources
- Operate multi-channel radio systems, CAD software, and telephone equipment
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications and activities
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergencies, including life-saving medical guidance
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel during critical incidents
- Remain calm and professional under pressure while multitasking in fast-paced environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Minimum 18 years of age with U.S. citizenship
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with high accuracy
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
