Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency/non-emergency calls with calm professionalism and precise information gathering
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio communications equipment
- Coordinate resources between police, fire, and EMS during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation with 100% accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and NIMS compliance standards
- Participate in continuous training for crisis intervention and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with law enforcement teams during active response situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to remain composed under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn technical systems quickly
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- U.S. citizenship and minimum age of 18 years
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (testing provided)
