Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and non-emergency lines
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate and detailed call logs and incident reports
- Provide critical information to officers in the field via radio
- Utilize multi-tasking skills during high-pressure situations
- Operate radio equipment and computer-aided dispatch systems
- Collaborate with other emergency agencies during multi-agency incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be 18+ years old and a US citizen
