Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency calls from the public and law enforcement personnel
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain accurate logs of all incidents and radio transmissions
- Provide critical information to officers in the field during emergencies
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) systems to track and report incidents
- Remain calm and professional during high-pressure crisis situations
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during major incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to type 35+ WPM (will be tested)
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No felony convictions or domestic violence restraining orders
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
