Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo for prohibited items using X-ray machines and advanced imaging technology.
- Interact professionally with the traveling public to ensure a smooth and efficient security screening process.
- Monitor and operate security screening equipment to detect potential threats.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and regulations at all times.
- Perform bag searches, pat-downs, and body scans in accordance with TSA guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and attention to detail during all shifts.
- Document incidents and report security breaches immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours).
- Clear vision (corrected if necessary) and ability to distinguish colors.
- No felony convictions within the past 7 years (or any felony, depending on specific role level).
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
