Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening using advanced X-ray technology and manual search techniques
- Enforce TSA security protocols while maintaining professional customer service standards
- Identify and report prohibited items, suspicious activities, and potential security threats
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors, CT scanners, and explosive detection systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents
- Maintain accurate documentation of screening procedures and incident reports
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a federal background check
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn security software
- Exceptional attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
