Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls and dispatch appropriate police/fire/EMS units
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio equipment during critical incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone (CPR, first aid)
- Maintain detailed call logs and documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Perform data entry and record management
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- US citizenship and valid California driver's license
- Pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Clear English communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- No felony convictions
