Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and parcels along assigned routes efficiently and accurately
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS protocols
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and customer locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Perform duties in all weather conditions while ensuring on-time delivery
- Operate scanning equipment for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Collaborate with postal service staff to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry mail while walking extended routes
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical assessment
- Basic computer literacy for scanning equipment and reporting systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
