Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes efficiently and accurately
- Operate postal vehicles safely following DOT regulations and route schedules
- Collect mail from residential and business addresses during assigned hours
- Process customer transactions including sales of stamps and money orders
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service disruptions
- Operate scanning devices for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
