Responsibilities
- Sort and process mail and packages efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route.
- Obtain signatures and handle cash/cash equivalents accurately.
- Maintain the safety and security of the mail on the vehicle and at the delivery point.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages and walking long distances in all weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license required (Commercial license preferred).
- Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must have the ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
