Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and parcels according to established routes
- Deliver mail and packages to residential/business addresses along assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and customer locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records using scanning technology
- Operate and maintain postal vehicles safely in diverse weather conditions
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and during deliveries
- Adhere to all USPS regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail for sorting accuracy
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Spanish fluency preferred for bilingual community
