Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Efficiently sort, categorize, and route incoming mail and packages to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Operate Delivery Vehicles: Safely drive postal vans or walking routes to transport mail to customers, businesses, and post offices.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, handling packages, and resolving delivery concerns professionally.
- Physical Handling: Perform physical labor, including lifting heavy parcels (up to 70 lbs), standing for extended periods, and navigating various terrains.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Route Management: Follow established delivery routes efficiently while ensuring all stops are completed within the shift timeframe.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy objects, walk long distances, and work in all weather conditions.
- License: A valid driver's license (Class D) is required for vehicle-based positions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and a drug screening process.
