Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately using automated sorting equipment.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses along established routes in a safe and timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle mail with care and respect.
- Load and unload mail vehicles and maintain the cleanliness of delivery vehicles.
- Prepare packages for shipment and ensure proper handling of fragile or special items.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and postal regulations while performing physical tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- United States Citizenship or permanent residency status.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, often in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license (required for carrier positions).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
