Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort mail efficiently before delivery to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Obtain proper signatures for certified and registered mail.
- Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws while operating a mail vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve inquiries regarding delivery services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Good physical health and stamina to walk or drive for long periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must pass a postal exam (4C) if not already a current employee.
