Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail & Packages: Sort and deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route in a timely and efficient manner.
- Route Management: Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- Mail Processing: Collect and process incoming mail, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of sensitive materials.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain delivery vehicles, mail sorting equipment, and handheld scanning devices.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers to answer questions and resolve delivery issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the public.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and receipts as required by postal regulations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and walk or stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
