Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail: Sort and deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses along an assigned route.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Sort & Process: Accurately sort mail to ensure timely delivery and maintain carrier route standards.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, safe, and fueled according to regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and postal policies at all times.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs and walking/driving for long periods.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal alien status with the ability to pass a background check.
- Driving: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Requirements: Pass a criminal background check and a medical examination.
