Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Efficiently sort incoming and outgoing mail by size, type, and delivery route.
- Load and Unload Vehicles: Safely load and unload trucks, sorting mail and packages by delivery destination.
- Deliver to Customers: Transport mail to residential and business customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of delivery activities and address changes.
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate postal vehicles and standard mail handling equipment.
- Weather Resilience: Perform duties in all weather conditions, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
