Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with CDC guidelines and local needs
- Manage grant funding and budget allocations for health initiatives
- Coordinate cross-departmental partnerships for community outreach programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Oversee compliance with HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
- Lead crisis response during public health emergencies
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical expertise to community partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Strong understanding of Kentucky public health regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
