Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with city and state regulations
- Manage community health programs focusing on disease prevention and wellness initiatives
- Analyze public health data to identify trends and recommend policy improvements
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, non-profits, and government agencies
- Oversee budget allocation for health programs and ensure compliance
- Lead crisis response efforts for public health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government or public health administration
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and Indiana public health codes
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in health information systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Experience with grant writing and federal program compliance
